Barrister A. Majid Tramboo
Background
A Majid Tramboo is an International human rights and international humanitarian, immigration and asylum lawyer of more than 35 years experience in the UK, EU and UN. He is a renowned human rights defender.
His distinguished legal career began in 1983 at his birth place Kashmir where he practiced in conducting civil and criminal litigation and human rights and humanitarian laws.
He is recognised as a leading expert in business and personal immigration, nationality, asylum and human rights and humanitarian legal matters including the EEA and the UN mechanisms. A Majid Tramboo has a particular interest in family and children’s issues relating to immigration and in the promotion of human rights and humanitarian related laws, rules and regulations.
A Majid Tramboo is committed to work for fundamental freedoms by providing assistance to the people within the EU and the United Nations framework. For this purpose he has organised international conferences on critical issues such as women’s rights, children’s protection, terrorism and human rights, defending human rights in conflict zones and the right to self-determination.
He continues to advise and represent victims of human rights within the EU & UN human rights system and conducts all this work on pro bono basis.
The focus of A Majid Tramboo’s legal research is on the immigration & asylum law, EEA, family & employment law linked to immigration and the International human rights law. He developed his administration, supervising and management enterprise through his experience at several different law firms and at the Immigration Advisory Service (IAS).
A Majid Tramboo has authored and compiled many books particularly on human rights issues including Human Rights in Flames 2012.
